SetCPU 2.0.3 – CPU Speed Tweaking App for Android

SetCPU for android allows control of certain aspects of the Linux cpufreq driver, allowing for overclocking, underclocking, or tweaking speeds and settings on Android phones such as Droid, Desire, Galaxy S and others.
SetCPU also includes a widget for your home screen. Add SetCPU’s widget like you would any other widget: long press on your home screen, select Widgets, and select the SetCPU widget.
It will work with most if not all rooted Android 1.5/1.6/2.0/2.1/2.2 builds on supported devices.
Have an Evo/Incredible/Desire/Slide with a stock kernel? Press Menu > Disable Perflock.
Galaxy S devices: use conservative scaling.

i was able to adjust proc on Droid w/ FRG01B but since FRG22D upgrade can no longer adjust clock… shows as “Read Only” now
I love this app on my EVO! Sometimes the profile I set with the highest priority gets stuck even though it should go to the next profile….

No profiles for Samsung Galaxy S, when I set it to not use much CPU when the screen was off I had to force close my phone, see no point in it.
good app it really saves you battery but it made my phone unstable always crashing sense ui. I only set the app to clock the cpu down whe screenoff.
