Skyfire 2.3 – Mobile Web Browser For Android

Skyfire mobile browser built for the social media generation. It enables users to follow links from Facebook, Twitter, iGoogle, Digg and play the videos on these deep links shared across social networks.

Skyfire enables Flash video from across the millions of web sites that use the popular Flash plug-in. Skyfire plays Flash video by transcoding video files into HTML5 in the cloud and optimizing
them for mobile delivery.

Bug fixes included in the Skyfire 2.3 release include:
- Startup Crash: For some users, Skyfire would intermittently force close startup. Fixed.
- Battery optimization, especially when Skyfire is in background
- Samsung Galaxy S: Better support for Flash 9 to co-exist with Skyfire Toolbar.
- Find on page: functionality fully working now
- Exit Skyfire in Android 1.5: On Motorola Backflip and HTC Magic it is now possible to properly exit Skyfire via a long-pressing the ‘back’ key.
